Alex Bertram is a senior trade and technology leader with nearly two decades of experience across the mining, energy, and maritime industries. As part of the founding team of Western Australia’s Americas investment and trade hub, he strengthened Australia - U.S. collaboration across critical minerals, clean energy, and defence supply chains under AUKUS.

His career includes 14 years with BHP in new mine and operational technology development, followed by roles with Microsoft as an industry advisor and First Mode focused on automation, electrification, and battery systems. Now with Greenroom Robotics, Alex brings this experience into the maritime domain - advancing Australian maritime autonomy and operations technologies into the U.S. across national security and energy industries.
